How to Access Your Funds in 2026

Depending on your account type and whether you missed previous deadlines, your access point has changed:

1. The Official Kroll Portal

For most users, the "login" you need is now hosted by Kroll, BlockFi’s restructuring administrator. You do not log in with a password; instead, you use a unique claimant ID or follow links sent to your registered email.

2. Coinbase Distribution (If Eligible)

In late 2024, BlockFi partnered with Coinbase to handle crypto distributions for users who missed the initial platform withdrawal windows.

  • Action: If you were notified that your funds were moved to Coinbase, you must log in to Coinbase.com using the same email address you used for BlockFi.
  • Status: Many estate distributions were processed through 2025. If you haven't received yours, check your Coinbase "Assets" tab.

3. Cash Payments via Digital Disbursements

If your crypto was liquidated into cash (USD), payments are typically handled by Digital Disbursements.

  • How it works: You should receive an email with a link to choose your payment method (Zelle, PayPal, or Check).
  • Deadline Note: The "Identity Verification" window for many of these distributions closed in May 2025, but some late-stage distributions from FTX settlements are still being processed in early 2026.

⚠️ Critical Security Warning

Because BlockFi is in the news for distributions, phishing scams are at an all-time high.

  • Never enter your 24-word recovery seed or private keys on any website claiming to be "BlockFi Support."
  • Never provide your login credentials via email links.
  • Official Support: Only trust emails from blockfi.com, kroll.com, or digitaldisbursements.com.

Current Distribution Status (Feb 2026)

Following successful settlements with the FTX estate, BlockFi has been working toward a 100% recovery of the "allowed" dollar value of claims as of the 2022 bankruptcy date.
